Healthy Habits: Cherry Chia Overnight Oats

To get started on Healthy Habits this month Megan has put together a delicious and easy recipe that you’ll want every morning. These Cherry Chia Overnight Oats are a healthy choice for a snack or breakfast to start your day.
CHERRY CHIA OVERNIGHT OATS
1/2 cup of rolled oats
1 cup of non-dairy milk beverage (I used unsweetened Hemp milk)
1 tablespoon of chia seeds
1/4 cup of pitted cherries (I used frozen cherries)
1 teaspoon of 100 percent pure maple syrup
1 tablespoon of chopped walnuts halves
- Add oats, non-dairy milk and chia seeds into a small bowl and mix together. Pour batter into a mason jar or container. You can also use the same container to mix the overnight batter to store it
- Top with cherries, maple syrup and walnuts and then secure with a lid
- Store in the refrigerator overnight
- Enjoy in the morning, no cooking required!
