Des + Jackie’s Bikini Boot Camp // Week 6: Circuit Training

Welcome to WEEK 6 of Bikini Boot Camp with Des and Jackie! We hope that you enjoyed last week’s workout and that you are starting to feel a difference in your energy level and body!
Don’t forget to stretch BEFORE and AFTER each workout. (Check out Des’s favorite STRETCHES for reference). Also, please note that posture and agility are very important in the performance of each exercise. Do not strain to achieve each workout and go at your own pace. All of the workout plans have been provided and in collaboration with my trainer Dave at Elite Fitness, so you can trust that they have been trainer tested and approved. 😉
CIRCUIT TRAINING: This week we will be getting our heart rate up to burn fat with intervals to get bikini ready for Summer! To follow along and stay on track with our 8 week Bikini Boot Camp don’t forget to print off the calendars below.

This workout is meant to be done in a sequence with different reps. Follow these reps (10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3). Meaning that the first time through you will do each workout 10x, then the second time through do them 9x, and so on down to 3x.
#1: Lateral Slide Shuffles
* Shuffle your feet in an athletic stance with knees bent from one side of the room to the other. (wall to wall= 1x)
#2: Squat Pulse + Jump
* Drop your body down into a squat (or narrow squat as shown), pulse slightly up and down 5x before coming up into a full jump.
#3: Pushup Hop
* Beginning in a pushup position, with arms shoulder width apart, jump feet to the front and back again.
REPEAT SEQUENCE (#1-#3) // 8 TIMES TOTAL WITH THESE REPS (10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3)!
This should be about a 20 minute workout when all said and done, leaving you a bit sweaty but ready for more. Don’t forget to STRETCH it out! Try our Smoothie Challenge from last year for a better way to enjoy breakfast!
