Sara and Eric’s wedding is too sweet for words! Not only does it have the cutest decor (re: the “Better Together” signs on the sweetheart table chairs and the loveliest purple, pink, and lavender color scheme), but it also includes a nod to how the couple met–on a bike ride! In honor of this, Sara and Eric took a spin on a bicycle made for two after their nuptials. With flowers in the basket, ribbons tied to the back, and silver cans dragging behind it, it was romance personified and is basically the cutest thing we’ve ever seen.

HOW TO INCLUDE YOUR LOVE STORY AT YOUR WEDDING

-Put a “How We Met” blurb in your wedding program. It will give your guests something delightful to read while they wait for the ceremony to start. To make it fun, you can tell two versions and label them HIS and HERS. Whether the blurb is sweet, funny, or simple, everyone will enjoy this walk down memory lane.

-Include small tributes to your relationship with your centerpieces. Was your first date at a movie theater? Place the ticket stubs in a frame with a small note recalling sweet tidbits like which one it was and what you both thought. Did you enjoy wine tasting as a couple during your relationship? Place a bunch of corks from the wineries into a mercury glass vessel or vase. You can vary the tributes from table to table. This will encourage guests to move around and see the different aspects of your relationship!

-At the guestbook table, place a photo album of all your biggest moments by the sign-in book. Don’t have many physical photos in this digital age? Get a photo book printout from your Instagram accounts! It’s easy and, as an extra bonus, guests will love seeing your captions and hashtags.

-Create a tableau. Set up a special table with photos, maps, and mementos from your time together. Keep everything in the style of your wedding–you can easily mix in some of your floral centerpieces to maintain your wedding look–and the area will also function as decor! Think of it as your very own “meet cute” central.
