Jessica and Chris invited guests to join them in the woods for their Jasper, Alberta wedding. On a lookout over Maligne Lake, they said their vows and then traversed through white-barked forests for a magically rustic wedding shoot. Personalized details were scattered throughout the day, from the arbor crafted out of wood from Jessica’s family farm to the vintage-inspired rings designed by Chris as a loving gift to his bride. It all framed the breathtaking views of the water, mountains, woods, and sky.
Jessica and Chris carried the woodland theme through the reception with centerpieces staged on exposed tree stump slices and untamed flowers tucked into glass jars. A marquee initial sign, crates, and a clothesline strung with pictures all told their story–one of creativity, love, and appreciation for natural, unrestrained beauty.
