Mike and Bianca wed in the storied “Land of Enchantment” — Old San Juan, Puerto Rico, a place where old world buildings give way to stunning vistas. The couple took advantage of the city’s glorious architecture, with a ceremony in a majestic cathedral and a reception in a historic hotel. While the reception venue featured classic details like a checkered marble floor and Spanish style chandeliers, the couple reinterpreted it with modern, chic decor, including long-stemmed calla lily centerpieces and sophisticated black table runners. Guests were treated to a handmade cigars, an homage to Old San Juan’s tradition of custom cigars, and danced the night away in a haze of purple and ivory light.
Like the best things, the wedding was an intersection of old and new, past and present, and all those elements combined to create one special, of-the-moment day for the bride and groom.
