Top 5 Destinations for ‘The Bachelorette’
As we kick off this season of The Bachelorette, it had me thinking about my time on The Bachelor and who’d be the lucky few to join our crazy Bachelor Nation family. Are they there for the right reasons? Big question mark. Will they get along with each other? Not a chance. Will it be the most dramatic season in Bachelorette history? Most definitely.
After living abroad for the last two years and traveling around the world, I began to brainstorm different destinations that should be featured on the show. Where in the world would make an unforgettable fantasy suite? What hot tub scenes would blow up the ratings? Where could another couple try and beat my world record for world’s longest on-screen kiss? Try as you may – it’s harder than it looks!
Without further adieu, I give you my top 5 destinations for The Bachelorette Travel Itinerary. For more travel inspiration follow me at @LesleyAnneMurphy or on my travel blog at www.theRoadLesTraveled.com
Lake Powell, Utah – Amangiri Hotel
It should come as no surprise that we start close to home. In the grand scheme of things, Utah isn’t too far from the Bachelor Mansion, and it’s always nice to kick things off with a little adventure. Who can handle the great outdoors…and who believes that outdoorsy translates to drinking on patios?
Mendoza, Argentina – Casa de Uco
Moving south, way south, it’s time for a little TLC. And wine. We all know that wine is everyone’s best friend on the show, and for some, it’s their biggest enemy (I’m talking to you, Ryan M.) A bottle of Malbec and a steamy hot tub sesh is just what the producer ordered.
Patagonia – Tierra Patagonia
Nothing screams romance like adventuring together at the southernmost tip of the world. Wanna really get to know someone? Trek 18km with your significant other to the top of this outlook point through mountains, forests and boulders. If you still like each other, head back to the hotel and bask in the spa!
Santorini, Greece – Canaves Oia Hotel
New continent, new make-out sessions. To me, Santorini holds of the most romantic setting I’ve ever had the pleasure of witnessing. Going back and forth between relaxing on black sand beaches and frolicking in the ocean would make for a nice little one-on-one date.
Maldives – Four Seasons Hura Kudaa
Now we’re talkin’. This is fantasy suite material. Scratch that. This is proposal material y’all. Cue Chris Harrison’s “The most dramatic rose ceremony in Bachelorette history.” Save it, Chris. There’s nothing but cool, calm, and collectedness on this island. I’d only need one rose, two tickets to paradise, and maybe a third person by the name of Neil Lane.
