Hey there! Michaela here– I’m thrilled to be back on Desiree’s blog for another home post. I’m not sure what part of the country you’re in, but here in Michigan, it is finally starting to warm up (if even just a few degrees!) Naturally, the promise of Spring is on my mind. As outdoor entertaining is one of my favorite things, I thought I would show you some fun ways to make your Spring get-togethers with friends extra personalized and sweet.
1. Start with a beautiful centerpiece. I love to frequent the local farmer’s market to get inexpensive blooms to make a pretty arrangement.
2. Personalize the place settings! -For this quick DIY, you’ll need mini terracotta pots, paint, a brush, a mini flower or succulent to sit inside the pot, place cards (we got ours from BHLDN), and a pen. – Write the names of your guests on the place cards. Tape a stick or toothpick to the back and stick it in your mini plant.
3. Set your table with fun glassware, colorful plates, and some delicious eats. I love to serve homemade bread with homemade jam and berries. In the spring, fruit it always a great choice!
Here’s the final look:
Hopefully this inspires some of your outdoor entertaining! Come check out my design blog, Michaela Noelle Designs, today to see a little interview with Desiree. She’s dishin’ on when she fell in love with designing gowns, gives us a peek into her home, and tells what she couldn’t live without. See you there!
