LOOK 1– (Blue Smokey Eye)
Step 1– Prime the eyelids. For this look I used Lorac Eyelid Primer.
Step 2– In the crease, blend a matte brown shadow. I used MAC “soft brown”
Step 3– On the lid and lower lashline, pat on a shimmery navy color. I used the Laura Geller 20 Shades of Baked palette. The shade was called “Midnight”
Step 4– In the inner corner of the eye brush on a shimmery white shadow. I used the shade “Pearl” from that same Laura Geller Palette.
Step 5– Apply scotch tape to your face. Sounds weird, but it creates a really nice line for eyeliner and shadow! Place it underneath your lower lash line, following up to the area where your eyebrow ends.
Step 6- Apply matte black shadow or eyeliner along the upper and lower lash line. I extend the shadow past my lash line to create a cat eye look. For this look, I only put the shadow halfway in on my lower lashes.
Step 7- Remove tape and use makeup remover to erase any shadow that fell underneath the eye.
Step 8– Apply glitter to the center of the eyelid. For this look I used Urban Decay Heavy Metal liquid glitter.
Step 9– Apply lashes. I used drugstore lashes. Ardell “120 Demi”
Step 10– Put mascara on lower lashes. I use L’oreal Voluminous Carbon Black mascara.
Step 11– Your eye makeup is finished! Follow up with foundation & lips! Nude lips would look great with this look.
LOOK 2– (Light Glittery Cat Eye)
Step 1– Place white eye shadow on the lid. I used the Laura Geller 20 Shades of Baked palette shade “Pearl”
Step 2– In the crease, blend a light matte brown shadow. I used MAC “soft brown”
Step 3– On the brow bone, blend a neutral shadow the color of your skin. It can be matte or shimmery. I used a touch of “opal” from the Laura Geller palette.
Step 4- Place tape beneath the lower lash line and guide it to the end of your eye brow. Blend black matte shadow along the lash line and a bit on the outer lower lash line.
Step 5– Remove tape and use makeup remover to pick up any eye shadow that fell in the under eye area.
Step 6- Conceal under eye circles. After you do your eye makeup you will finish your face makeup.
Step 8– Apply lashes and mascara
Step 9- Your eye makeup is complete! Finish with face makeup and lips! Any shade of lipstick would look great with this eye since it is pretty neutral
Have a safe and happy New Year!!!!!
