{ Chris’s Corner }

Hey Everyone! Welcome back to my corner. This week I thought it would be fun to chat a little bit about summer, find out what you are up to this summer and of course…talk about #BIP!

Let’s start with the meat…and tomatoes.

Are you watching Bachelor in Paradise? We are. I have mixed feelings about it right now. I think I will keep watching though to see what happens in the end. Yes, we were there at the end, but I still want to find out what happens! Right now my favorite in Marquel. He seems like a very down to earth guy. Next Bachelor??? The whole date card thing seems odd to me a little bit, especially when Claire changed her date choice to make the other girl feel better! Odd. Very odd.

Are you enjoying the show? Do you think they should have another season? Another episode? Get rid of it?

Des and I have been crazy busy this summer. Between her work and mine, we are literally running around like chickens with our head’s cut off. But, we have had some time to enjoy each other. Just the other day, after her trip to Taiwan, we went and had a small picnic at Gas Works Park close by to our house. While we were eating, we got to enjoy watching the sailboats go by on the water, paddle boarders balance and hang on for dear life and a few Frisbees being tossed around right in front of us at the bottom of the hill. It is an amazing park with some of the best views of the city!

Funny story – kind of – as we were sitting there eating our sandwiches a bee flew onto my next bite. Not looking before I bit down, I chomped on the bee and he stung me right on my tongue! At first I thought it was a piece of glass in my sandwich and I just let the entire bite fall out onto the ground, but I quickly noticed there was a bee in that bite! Des came to the rescue! She pulled the stinger out of my tongue before all of the poison got into me. Thanks Babe! But, my tongue decided to swell up anyway! Thankfully, I am not allergic to bee stings. As we were trying to figure out what we should do for the swelling, I found out that HONEY is a natural antihistamine. Ironic? So I went back home and had a few tablespoons of honey. Vinegar is also supposed to help. Good thing for me the swelling went down by the next morning and I was back to my normal self, kind of.

Hey guess what?! It’s getting to be about that time for our bachelor and bachelorette parties! Yep, we are getting married! Any recommendations as to what I should do for the bachelor party? Let me know your thoughts.

Until next time,

Chris is out! …on the corner
