Bridesmaid Style {Summer}

Summer weddings are fun to accessorize because the options are endless, whether you want to add a different color accent for your bridesmaid dresses or keep it chic and delicate. I have paired a few summer looks together using Donna Morgan bridesmaid dresses and KVBijou jewelry. If you missed the first edition of Bridesmaid Style {Glam} be sure to check that out as well.

bmstyle2I love images of peaceful beach or destination style weddings. The vibrant yet calming colors and styles of dresses Laura and Stephanie shown above are perfect for that type of wedding. Many brides like to pair the same color jewelry with the gown to keep all the bridesmaids in unison, and keep their color scheme tightly knit. On the other hand, I find it to be refreshing when the jewelry is an accent color to the gown, such as pairing this aqua jewelry with the coral gown. For a bolder statement I have included the Lola earrings which would look beautiful with both gowns and the Sophia ring. You won’t need a necklace with these earrings since the necklines of these dresses already flatter the décolletage. For a softer look you can pair the Callie studs instead.

BM1Depending on the location for your summer wedding, the climate and weather can get pretty warm and so these short dresses (Donna and Sarah) would be ideal for your bridesmaids to stay cool and comfortable. Also short dresses are fitting for weddings that are outdoor in a garden or in a more casual setting. A big earring  like the Aria earring works well with these styles because of the strapless necklines. Also since a shorter dress is slightly more casual than a long gown, the jewelry can be kept minimal. A layered bangle like the Bailey Bangle can add a little more to the entire look since the girls will be holding their flowers up when they walk down the aisle and bracelets shown.
