Although I grew up in Colorado with mountains only a few hours away, I never got into skiing or snowboarding until I moved to California. Of course I had friends that were incredible snowboarders and talked about it all the time, but I just never had the time to go with them. I definitely missed out on making memories and burning calories! Now that I have gone about 3 times, and still not that good, I fully appreciate the work out that snowboarding or skiing gives. It is such a great way to be outside, get fresh air, spend time with family or friends, and tone your bum. There is something special about being in colder weather, snow on the ground, riding down a mountain with loved ones. I love the workout from being on the mountain and suggest that everyone give it a try at least once to feel the burn and see what I’m talking about.
